Most likely the W. stands for Washington which was common at that time. However, there is no record of the middle name. All that is known about his parents is that they were also born in Ohio.

  Events

• He worked as a Farmer in 1900. George and his family were farmers according to the census of 1900. However, family interviews state that George also worked as a coal miner in Missouri. Both the 1880 census and the 1900 census state they lived in Caldwell County, Missouri.

• He worked as a Servant. George and Celia were servants at Watkins Mill near Lexington Missouri. I'ts a mill that you can still tour today. He said that there were like 27 servants for the kitchen and such so they weren't personal servants.

George married Celia Maria Josephine Wright.³⁴ (Celia Maria Josephine Wright was born on 16 Apr 1844 in Kentucky ³⁴ and died on 8 Oct 1918 in St Joseph, MO ³⁴.)
