• She emigrated to Victoria, Australia from 1865 to 1869. ²³⁰ She arrived in Victoria in the late 1860s, apparently without family

• She emigrated to Australia on ship "Lincolnshire" in 1877. Strangely, Annie was travelling with her 3 sons under the family name of Campbell (was this a clue to family connections, or was it just a disguise for the similar-sounding Clampett), alleging that they were all of Scottish birth!

Annie had a relationship with William Campbell Clarson about 1871.²³⁰ (William Campbell Clarson was born in 1832 ²³⁰ and died in 1891 ²³⁰.)

They apparently did not marry, as he was only separated from his legal wife, not divorced.
