Roby Nathan Fay & Ada (Fay) Barber were twins.
Obituary in the December ?, 1905 Sacramento Bee reads:
"FAY- In this city, December 8, 1905, Roby N. Fay, uncle of Mrs. S.E. Strait, a native of Vermont, aged 58 years, 8 months and 15 days. Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral Sunday, December 10th at 1 p.m., from his late residence, 2713 N Street, Interment City Cemetery"
Article in December ?, 1905 "LOCAL BREVITIES" column of the Sacramento Bee reads:
"Old Soldier's Funeral - Roby Fay, a veteran of the Civil War, who fought with Sheridan in the Shenandoah Valley, was yesterday laid at rest in the city Cemetery. The funeral took place from the residence of his niece, Mrs. S. E. Strait, 2713 N Street. Deceased was a native of Vermont, aged 58 years and 8 months. The pall-bearers were Fred Thomson, Herbert Thomson, John Talcott and Charles F. Fay."
