Obituary - Warren, IN The Warren Tribune - Friday, October 19, 1956 Mrs. Mary Gephart Died Saturday Services Held Tuesday Afternoon at First Methodist Church Mrs. Mary Lola Gephart, 82, 918 South Mulberry street, Bluffton, passed away at 7:35 p.m. Saturday evening at the Bluffton Clinic hospital. Death was caused by complications. Mrs. Gephart was born October 1, 1874 at Winchester, Indiana to Jacob A. and Nancy Ann Leavell Hoover. Her first marriage was to Elmer McElhaney, who died March 24, 1936. She married George Marion Gephart November 28, 1942 at Warren, who survives. Mrs. Gephart resided in Warren eight years before moving to Wells county six years ago. She was a member of the local First Methodist church. Survivors include the husband, a son, Russell McElhaney, Vero Beach, Florida; a step daughter, Mrs. Dale Beeson, Chicago, Illinois; two sisters: Mrs. Tina Cloud and Mrs. Edna Michaels, both of Bluffton; a brother, Harry Hoover, Detroit, Michigan. The body was taken to the H. Brown and Son funeral home. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Methodist church with the Rev. Harold B. Bachert officiating. Mrs. Ethel Click was soloist, accompanied at the organ by Miss Mary Wilhelm. Pallbearers were: Claude Hite, J. Ben Good, Loyd Huffman, Will Keith, Everett Huffman and Russell Blair. Burial was in the Woodlawn cemetery.
