Mrs. Della E. Sills Dies At Bluffton - Funeral Services Held Tuesday
Mrs. Della E. Sills, 82, died at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Wells county hospital in Bluffton. She had been in failing health for the past nine months and seriously ill four weeks.
She was born August 5, 1874 at Montpelier to William A. and Hannah Penrod Shadle. Her marriage to George O. Sills took place in 1897 in Wells county. He preceded in death in 1939.
Mrs. Sills made her home with her two sons, Willaim Ray Sills and Delmer L. Sills. She attended the South Liberty Christian church.
Surviving are two sons; William Ray Sills, Warren route three; Delmer L. Sills, Poneto route one; three sisters; Mrs. Minnie Collins of Poneto; Mrs. Sherman Bell and Mrs. Ed Smith, both of Poneto route one; a brother Albert Shadle, Poneto; three grandchildren, and a step grandchild.
Two brothers, John and Elmer Shadle are deceased.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Jahn, Goodwin & Reed funeral home, Bluffton with the Rev. C. A. Duncan officiating.
Burial was in the Redman cemetery at Warren.

Della married George Oliver Sills in 1897 in Wells County, IN.⁷⁰ (George Oliver Sills was born WFT Est 1851-1878 ⁷⁰ and died in 1939 ⁷⁰.)
