Mrs. Vida J. Boulware, 97, of the Warren Methodist Home, died at 8:55 a.m. Tuesday at Wells Community Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born Sept. 19, 1896 in Kempton, she was a daughter of James and Hallie Smith Gossard. Her marriage to Les Boulware, who died July 17, 1963, took place Dec. 4, 1915 in Huntington. A resident of the Warren and Markle areas, Mrs. Boulware was a member of the Markle United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. George (Barbara) Paul of Markle, Mrs. Wayne (Betty) Eggiman and Virginia Stout, both of Fort Wayne; 13 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Warren Methodist Home, where rites will be officiated by Rev. Charles Elam at 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Markle Cemetery.
Butler Funeral Home, Warren, is in charge of arrangements.
