Robert J. Campbell Died Saturday
Funeral Services Held Tuesday For Retired Farmer
Robert Jacob Campbell, 87, retired farmer, passed away at 6:15 p.m. Saturday at the Wells county hospital. Death was caused by complications.
Mr. Campbell was a lifelong resident of Wells county. His parents were the late Robert and Rachael Huffman Campbell. He married Mary M. Jones February 20, 1901. She preceded him in death April 30, 1956.
Mr. Campbell was a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge at Liberty Center.
Surviving are three daughters; Mrs. Roy Brown, Mt. Pleasant, Mich.; Mrs. Arlie Blake, LaMar, Colorado; Mrs. George Vesper, Yorktown, Ind.; two sons; Ocel Campbell, Gulnare, Colorado, and Don Campbell, Van Buren; 22 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the H. Brown and Son funeral home with the Rev. John Honeay officiating.
Burial was in the Mossburg cemetery in Wells county.
