Charles H. Goodmiller, 84, Warren, a lifelong resident of Huntington county, died at 10:30 p.m. Thursday at the Wells county hospital, Bluffton. He had been in failing health one year and seriously ill a week.
Mr. Goodmiller was born March 1, 1872, in Lancaster township to Mr. and Mrs. John Goodmiller. His was first married to Sarah E. Ulrich, who died in 1925. His second marriage was to Elizabeth Hacker, who died in 1934. He was married November 28, 1936, to Della huffman, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Warren Goodmiller, Huntington route five; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Amanda Cline of this city and Mrs. Rebecca Cline, Lancaster township. Preceding Mr. Goodmiller in death were two sons, two sisters and two brothers.
Before retiring, Mr. Goodmiller owned and operated several farms in Lancaster township. He was a member of the Salamonie Church of the Brethren.
Friends may call at the H. Brown and Son Funeral home, Warren, where brief services will be held Sunday before the body is removed to the Salamonie Church of the Brethren for funeral services at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Conrad Snavely officiating. Burial will be in Lancaster cemetery.

Funeral services for Charles H. Goodmiller were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Salamonie Church of the Brethren at Lancaster with the Rev. Conrad Snavley officiating. Music was by Mrs. Conrad Snavley, Mrs. Henry Lawyer, and Miss Alice Whitmore with Mrs. Max Wamsley at the church organ.
Pallbearers were William Wood, Raymond Wornock, Paul Landrum, Clark Minton, Clarence Goodmiller, and Orville E. Kellam. Burial was in the Lancaster cemetery.

Charles Goodmiller Died Last Thursday
Services Held Sunday at Salamonie Church of Brethren
Charles H. Goodmiller, 84, passed away at 10:30 p.m. last Thursday evening at the Wells county hospital. Death was caused by complications.
Mr. Goodmiller, a prominent retired farmer, had lived in Huntington county all his life. He lived in Lancaster township before moving to Warren.
He was born March 1, 1872 in Lancaster township to John and Mary Kimmel Goodmiller. His first marriage was to Sarah E. Ulrich, who died in 1925. His second marriage was to Elizabeth I. Hacker, who preceded in death. On November 28, 1936 he married Della Huffman, who survives.
Mr. Goodmiller was a member of the Salamonie Church of the Brethren.
Surviving besides the widow are one son, Warren Goodmiller, Huntington route five; two sisters: Mrs. Amanda Cline, Huntington, and Mrs. Rebecca Cline, Lancaster township. Two sons, Lawrence Goodmiller and Roy Goodmiller (infant), two brothers and two sisters preceded in death.
The body was taken to the H. Brown and Son funeral home

Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Salamonie Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Conrad Snavely officiating.
Burial was in the Lancaster cemetery.
Singers were Mrs. Henry Lawyer, Mrs. Conrad Snavely and Miss Alice Whitmore, accompanied by Mrs. Max Wamsley at the organ.
Pallbearers were: Bill Woods, Raymond Worneck, Paul Landrum, Clark Minton, Clarence Goodmiller and Orville Kellam.
