Mrs. Lelie M. Bevington Huffman died at 1:30 a.m. Friday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Edith Smethers, Marion after an illness of five days.
Mrs. Huffman was born November 8, 1873 in Wells county, to Charles F. and Sarah J. Tate Bevington. She married Levi F. Huffman August 5, 1893. He died last January.
Surviving are the daughter; two grandchildren; four great grand children and two sisters, Mrs. Isaac Huffman, Bluffton route three, and Mrs. Della Huffman, Warren route three.
She was a member of the Warren Wesleyan church and had spent most of her life in Huntington county except the last four and a half years when she resided in Grant county.
The body was removed to the H. Brown & Son funeral home, Warren, where friends may call after 10:30 a.m. Saturday and where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Loren Crowe officiating, assisted by the Rev. Earl Surface, Warren.
Burial will be in the Woodlawn cemetery, Warren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lelie Huffman were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the H. Brown and Son funeral home at Warren with the Rev. Loren Crowe, Greene county officiating assisted by the Rev. Earl Surface, Warren and the Rev. John Retherford, Marion. Music was by David Zent, and Mrs. David Zent at the piano.
Pallbearers were Robert Beaty, Richard Beaty, Claude Bevington, Wayne Huffman, Paul Huffman, and Steve Murray.
Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery at Warren.
