On our trip to Texas in September, 1995, Jim and I found the marriage certificate of John when he married Winnie. John was 21 at the time and Winnie was 18. They were married on January 9, 1913 and Jim's father, Arthur Clampitt, and Mattie Nance were the witnesses. This appears in the marriage Book 6B, Page 391 in the Courthouse in Magnum, Texas.
