William and Phoebe were listed in the 1870 census of Brown Co, IL. His youngest brother Granville L. Kindred was living with them. Moved to Denton Co. TX with her parents, Woodson and Polly Briggs Harris sometime before 1880. William had the bad luck of getting his hands caught in a cotton gin soon after he arrived in Texas. William and Phebe, oldest son Leroy and family, youngest son Earl and daughter Emma Cannon and grandson William Cannon have been located in the 1910 OK census in McClain Co. May have spent their remaining years there.
