Irma met Millard at a dance pavillion. He thought he was quite clever when he could pass one (fool someone) over another.

Cliff and Mary (Aitken) Sparrow went to visit him in Florida but when they got to the house, it was empty. They found out from a neighbor that he worked at Sears & Roebuck as a window dresser. He had been an executive traveling to Cuba for a petroleum company at one time.

Erma married Millard Farrell Snook, son of James Snook and Elizabeth Ellen Clampitt, on 28 Jun 1935 in Brooklyn, New York City. The marriage ended in divorce. (Millard Farrell Snook was born on 4 Jun 1904 in Parsons, Labette County, KS, christened in Baptist, Labette County, KS, died on 10 Jan 1970 in San Diego Univ. Hospital, San Diego County, CA and was buried on 16 Jan 1970 in Mt Hope Cem., San Diego, San Diego County, California.)
