24 may 2001 family group compilation by Charlotte Jensen rayj@rmci.net

SHE CITES LDS FHL MICROFILM #0855039 BIBLE RECORDS OF MOSELEYS;
She cites Caldwell Co KY 1850 us census with spottswood moseley 25, bricklayer which is exactly the correct age for spotford, right siblings were in KY --and spottswood and spotford, while different are very similar, compared with all the other first names of moseley in 1850 census;
PETER B. MOSELEY in court records below is called james's "brother" however LDS film #0855039 bible record doesnt mention a peter B. in the family
--AND THERE'S MANY CONFLICTS IN AVAILABLE EVIDENCE NOW:
FILM 0855039 BROTHERS AND SISTERS SOUND MORE LIKE KIDS OF DANIEL MOSELEY B.1760
1850 census buckingham co VA dist #2 DN#168, family #168 peter B. moseley 40
farmer, daniel N. Moseley 18 farmer born in buckingham co. va;
SO FOR NOW WE COMPILE PETER B.MOSELEY CA1809 AS SON OF DANIEL MOSELEY BORN 1778
AND we3 compile HIS "BROTHER" JAMES MOSELEY B.1798 AS SON OF DANIEL MOSELEY BORN
CA.1760;
So we compile these children for this daniel, as he was was thought to be a soldier (or at least his brother thomas is documented as rev war soldier)--and born 1760 makes him correct age to be father;
FINALLY LDS MICROFILM 0855039 above lists Tom moseley as the oldest son of daniel the rev war soldier. That fits because this daniel born 1760 is thought to be son of thomas moseley b. ca 1735;

Charlotte Jensen (above) cites LDS FHL microfilm 0033219 pg.467 General index
Pr. Edward Co VA wills etc vols 7-9 1828-1953: & continued on FHL film 0033246;
james moseley of pr Edward Co VA
21 sep 1843 will appoint my brother peter B. Moseley executer [sic].
This draws our attention to Daniel moseley b. 1778 of pr edward co as possible father of james--as there is also circumstantial evidence relating Peter B. to Daniel of Pr Edward Co. VA. 18 mar 1844 court, peter B. refused to be exec, so James's wife's brother William M. Moseley of BuckinghamCo VA was appointed exec;

Died of Bilious Fever. Xerox of Library of VA in Richmond Bible record
Accession #26643 seen 1974 sent 1995 by Mrs James Russell, Colliersville, TN, it says James died at 50 with no brothers and only one sister, Mary Lewis.

!1971 LDS film 0855039 item 3 from a VT and unknown locality bibles transcribed by Russelville KY DAR chapter Book 3: leaves 29-32. Asserts Daniel was a Major in Rev. War and Col. in 1812, his son James born 1798-1843 md Nancy L.
That sounds more like the daniel born 1760 powhatan co va who went to ky, but so far the evidence is all in pr edward co va. so we remain with his father being the daniel moseley who apparently md martha pettus and polly perkins;

LDS microfilm 0001037 under marshall moseley, says a marshall moseley attended wedding 1851 of susan and spottswood moseley;
