General Notes:
Sarah was enumerated in the 1850 census with 2 additional females, Margaret Canaday, 21 and a Susannah, 19 (don't know if surname was Clampit or Canaday). Sarah's age is in question: on her tombstone YOB is 1804 and on 1850 census her age is 46 (=1803/04 YOB). On 1830 census, female living w/ Calvin was between 20-30 (=1810-20 YOB) and on 1880 census, age is 67 (=1813-14 YOB). Her state of birth also in question. On 1850 census and on daughter Elizabeth J. Winder's 1910 census, it's listed as South Carolina, on 1880, it's Alabama. Her parents were born in North Carolina.

This must sound strange but I have in 1900 census Elizabeth, As Elizabeth Winder as a sister inlaw to William R. Cannaday, she was 62 yr's old, and her birth was 6/1837 (b) Ala. father in NC and mother in SC , that was a thinking mode, and I do have a 1910 census that say's Elizabeth Winder (b) Tnn and a wd. parents born USA on both?? She is buried in Fairview Cemetary, Frankford, Pike County, MO; her statistics are listed as 1804-1885.
Sarah married Calvin Caleb Clampett, son of Mathias Masten Clampett and Rebecca Nicholson, about 1835 in Jackson County, Alabama. (Calvin Caleb Clampett was born on 21 May 1814 in South Carolina and died in May 1849 in Danville, Pike County, Mo..)
Sarah next married about 1818.
