The story of the

family is slowly emerging and this version appears to be the most complete. Key researchers into the story and the origins of the family are Arthur Clampitt of Australia and, John Clampett in America.

Many thanks to Helen Pampling in Australia who has not only been doing much research into the Clampett's, but has also been producing some excellent documentation. Have a look in the Biographies section and also her research into the Irish Roots of the Australian Clampett Family.

Please send in your stories, especially including any supporting evidence such as certificates, newspaper articles etc. Any photographs will also be welcomed as these make the family history come alive.

Your help is needed to assist in completing this story, especially with regard to the early days. If anyone can speak French it would be particularly helpful in researching the family's origins in France.
