Clarence H. DeWitt
Huntington-Clarence H. DeWitt, 73, 1302B Memorial Lane, Huntington,
died at 6 a.m. Saturday at his home.
A resident of Huntington most of his life, he was a retired employee of Maco Corporation, Huntington. Mr. DeWitt was a member of the First Brethren Church, Huntington.
Survivors include one son, Clifford, Fort Wayne; three daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Joyce) Smith, Tuscumbis, Ala., and Mrs. Scotty (Barbara) Huffman and Mrs. Harold (Alice) Waikel, both of Huntington; three sisters, Mrs. Velma Webster, Fort Wayne, Venona Snyder, Roanoke, and Evelyn Eytcheson, Churubusco; seven grandchildren; five step grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and five step great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Deal and Robbins Funeral Home, 338 E. Washington St., Huntington, with the Rev. James Vandermark officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memory cemetery, Huntington County.

Clarence DeWitt
Clarence H. DeWitt, 73, 1302B Memorial Lane, died at 6 a.m. Saturday (July 7, 1984) at his home.
He had lived most of his life in Huntington, and retired in 1975 from Maco Corporation where he had worked for 20 years. He was a member of the First Brethren Church in Huntington.
Mr. DeWitt was born Aug. 11, 1910 in Huntington County to Oliver David and Cerena Cormany DeWitt. His marriage was to Bernice DeWitt Nov. 14, 1933, in Fort Wayne.
Surviving are a son, Clifford K. DeWitt, Fort Wayne; three daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Joyce) Smith, Tuscumbis, Ala; and Mrs. Scotty (Barbara) Huffman, and Mrs. Harold (Alice) Waikel, both of Huntington; seven grandchildren, five step-grandchildren; a great-grandson, and five step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Velma Webster, Fort Wayne; Venona Snyder, Roanoke; and Evelyn Eytcheson, Churubusco.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Deal & Robbins Funeral Home where services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. James C. Vandermark. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Elbert Trainer, Greg DeWitt, Rick Waikel, DeWayen Lusca, Jack Harris and Lee Goodwin. Burial was at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
