Son of Mary Ann Reed, Dr. Thomas E. Reed, Dies At 54
Dr. Thomas E. Reed, 54, of Indianapolis, son of Bluffton resident, Mrs. Mary Ann Reed, died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at his home following a lengthy illness.
A retired family practice physician, Dr. Reed was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Born Aug. 16, 1932 in Indianapolis, he was a son of the late Wendell D. Reed and Mrs. Mary Ann Huffman Reed of Bluffton. His marriage was to Jackie Peterman, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Douglas (Nancy) White and Miss Cindy Lynn Reed, both of Indianapolis; two sons, Mark Allen Reed and Michael Evan Reed, both of Indianapolis; a brother Richard B. Reed of San Francisco, Calif., and one grandchild.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Flanner and Buchanan Mortuary on Fall Creek Blvd., in Indianapolis with Chaplin Bill Hogsett presiding. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Phillip (Barbara) Johnson of Keystone, Mr. and Mrs. David (Alberta) Huffman, Mrs. Margaret Huffman and son, Bill, and Mrs. Dorothy Markley, all of Bluffton, attended memorial services at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Flanner-Buchanan Funeral Home in Indianapolis for Dr. Thomas Reed, son of Mrs. Wendell (Mary Anne) Reed of Bluffton.
