Mrs. Millie Jackson
Mrs. Millie A. Jackson, 89, 1517 Grant St. and a former resident of Warren, died at 2:55 p.m. Thursday at Huntington Memorial Hospital following an illness of 15 months.
She was born Jan. 11, 1883, in Witchita, Kan. to Ezra and Emily Cole Covault and her marriage was on Dec. 9, 1903 in Warren to Charles Jackson, who died on March 27, 1963.
A member of the First Baptist Church, Warren, she attended the Wesleyan Methodist Church during her residence in Huntington.
Surviving are a son, Norman G. Jackson, Huntington; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. W. A. Smith and Miss Cordelia Covault, both of Muncie, and Mrs. Ralph W. Pittenger, Lafayette. One son, Dale C. Jackson, is deceased.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. Friday at the H. Brown and Son Funeral Home, Warren, where services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Herbert Mohler of Huntington officiating.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Warren.
