Jackson, Norman G.
Norman G. Jackson, 74, 1601 Cottage Ave., died at his home at 7 a.m. Wednesday (July 18, 1979). He had lived on Cottage Avenue since 1963 and was employed as a grocer, retiring from Kastner's Market in 1975.
Mr. Jackson was born Dec. 23, 1904 in Warren to Charles and Millie Covault Jackson, and his marriage was on Nov. 3, 1923 in Hillsdale, Mich. to the former Martha F. Huffman, who died Nov. 11, 1961.
Surviving are three sons, Robert Jackson, Richard Jackson and Phillip Jackson, all of Huntington; two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Marilyn) Clark, Huntington, and Mrs. Paul (Sandra) Bonner, Markle; 11 grand children and seven great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Bailey Mortuary, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, with Rev. Larry Ray officiating.
Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Warren.
Norman married Martha Fern Huffman, daughter of Franklin Cleveland Huffman and Myrtle "Myrt" Dell Byrd, on 3 Nov 1923 in Hillsdale, MI..70 (Martha Fern Huffman was born on 18 Aug 1905 in Wells County, IN 70 and died on 11 Nov 1961 in Huntington County, Indiana 70.)
