Mrs. Paul (Mildred) Huffman, 81, Dies; Funeral Services Monday
A former resident of 311 East Wiley Ave., Mrs. Paul (Mildred B.) Huffman, 81, died at 2:30 a.m. today at Meadowvale Care Center following an extended illness.
A former receptionist at Caylor-Nickel Medical Center, Mrs. Huffman, was a member of the First Baptist Church and Delta Theta Tau Sorority.
Born Sept. 13, 1905 in Zanesville, she was a daughter of Augustus Earl and Dorcas Alice Barrington McGinness. Her marriage to Paul L. Huffman, who died May 26, 1986, took place in Bluffton May 21, 1943.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Gilbert (Jeanne) Bynum of Craigville; a son Richard James McElderry of Holden, Mass.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Paul (Joan) Baumgartner of Saginaw, Mich., nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Calling after 4 p.m. Sunday will be at the Thoma-Rich Funeral Home, with services there at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to the Ronald McDonald House.
