Don C. Huffman
Don C. Huffman, 74, a resident of the Methodist Memorial Home, Warren since March, 1973, died at 6:35 a.m., Wednesday, following a long illness. Mr. Huffman had resided in Huntington prior to entering the home and was a retired employee of the Erie Railroad.
He was born in Grant County on Jan 23, 1900 to Austin R. and Martha Stinson Huffman and his marriage was on Dec. 12, 1925 to Ethel Norman, who survives and resides at the Methodist Home, Warren.
Also surviving is one son, Paul L. Huffman, Imperial Beach, Calif., five grandchildren, one brother, James Oakley, Florida and one sister Mrs. Guy (Helen) Huber, Warren. Two brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Thursday at the Methodist Memorial Home Chapel, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Gail Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Warren and the family requests flowers be omitted.

Funeral services for Don C. Huffman were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Methodist Memorial Home Chapel with Rev. Gail Davis officiating.
Pallbearers were Jack Paul, George Paul, Harold Trout, James Oakley, Russell Enyeart, Max Enyeart, Emmett Martin and W. Spencer Huffman.
Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Warren.
Don married Ethel Norman, daughter of Frank Norman and Alva Moore, on 12 Dec 1925.70 (Ethel Norman was born on 9 Jun 1902 in Hardin County, OH. 70 and died on 18 Apr 1991 in Warren, Huntington County, Indiana 70.)
