Raymond E. Huffman
Raymond E. Huffman, 77, a resident of Liberty Center, Rt. 1, died at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at his resident after being in failing health for several years.
A retired farmer, he was a member of the Boehmer United Methodist Church and a World War One veteran.
Born Feb. 10, 1896, in Huntington to Frank and Alma Wright Huffman, his marriage was Oct. 30, 1923 in Bluffton to Ina P. Moore, who died Sept. 5, 1970.
Survivors include one son, Roger Huffman, Bluffton; two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Mary Ann) Gerwig, Bluffton, and Mrs. Hieber (Ellen) Butler, Belle, Mo., six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two brothers, Dean Huffman, Muncie and Ora Huffman, Marion and one sister, Mrs. Elsie Pharp, Leo.
Friends may call at the H. Brown and Son Funeral Home, Warren, after 2:30 p.m. Friday. The body will be taken to the Boehmer United Methodist Church at 12 noon on Saturday, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Warren.
