Obituary - Bluffton, IN Evening News - Tuesday, November 28, 1905 - P2C5 Two Jurymen Excused Because Of A Death John Baker and Levi Huffman Were Related To Mrs. Jacob Huffman, Who Died From Paralysis. Mrs. Jacob Huffman, aged about seventy, whose home was a mile east and one half mile north of Buckeye, died suddenly at five o'clock this morning from a stroke of paralysis and heart trouble. Mrs. Huffman was apparently as well as usual Monday and was at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Samuel Priddy, during the day assisting her daughter to provide for a corn shredding crew working there. She retired at night without any special complaint. This morning she was suddenly stricken and died before a physician could be summoned. She leaves a husband and three married children. On account of Mrs. Huffman's death two of the circuit jurymen were excused this morning. They were John Baker, a brother of Mrs. Huffman, and Levi Huffman, a brother-in-law. They were on their way to Bluffton this morning when they received word at Poneto of Mrs. Huffman's death and come on to town and were excused by Judge Vaughn, and allowed to return home. No case had been started.
Sarah married Jacob Huffman, son of Henry Huffman and Elizabeth Ebersole, WFT Est 1841-1881.70 (Jacob Huffman was born WFT Est 1822-1837 70 and died WFT Est 1873-1925 70.)
