Forrest Kindred

Was a Carpenter by trade.

"I visited them in the summer of 1963, Forrest wanted to show me where his people were buried. I loaded him with terminal cancer and her on crutches with a broken hip in my car and with his directions drove south of Pittsfield 5 or 6 miles, the gravel road became dirt and got narrower, forded a creek and topped a hill and saw a beautiful, well kept fenced in Burbridge Cemetery. "How can this be?" I asked, and Forest said "Uncle Charles left a trust fund in the bank to take care of it."
