William Leroy Noble lived, when I first knew him, in Iola, KS, in a small hotel which has since been torn down. When he finally became unable to care for himself, he went to stay with his youngest daughter, Ruth and her husband in Kansas City, MO. Wiliam Leroy Noble was tall and slender and possibly was quite a good-looking man in his prime. His first wife, Nora, who lives in Kansas City, helped her daughter look after him during his last months. She would bring food over for him and he would eat her cooking when he wouldn't eat anything else. At the time Nora was dating another man who also came along on the visits while we were there. Everyone seemed to be just one big happy family and talked constantly. (Mrs. Mary Jane Jennings Edwards)
