bullet  General Notes:

[work 27.FTW]

[Brøderbund WFT Vol. 45, Ed. 1, Tree #0839, Date of Import: Jun 5, 2002]

In 1895, Leroy, Coffey Co., KS census records. In 1895, Sarah was listed in the Anderson Co., KS census records. In Trading Post, KS John Noble, Jr. built a small 4-room house (2 rooms up and 2 rooms down) for his family. When they arrived it was full of bugs and they never lived in it (Lou Noble Edwards).
The wood was green and a breeding place for the bugs.

John Noble, Jr. would lease timber land and then move in a crew to cut up the lumber. He made two trips into Oklahoma. The first via covered wagon. Went to Perry, Oklahoma and took family with him. On the 2nd trip went with other men.

Margaret Murphy Noble upheld her husband in anything he did - right or wrong. He made money, but apparently couldn't hang on to it. Spent it freely and not too wisely with boys in town.

Garfield Noble, who never married, took care of his mother in her last eight years. He had a wonderful sense of humor and kept you laughing all the time you were with him. Talked as much as most women. He lived alone in Harris, KS. When I first met him and he seemed to be as completely happy as is possible on this earth. He didn't have much, but was satisfied. Everyone in the area in which he lived knew him and liked him. He was Lou's favorite brother I am sure. They would talk most of the night through when she went to visit him.
They never seemed to tire of each others company. (Mary Jane Jennings Edwards).
