Fern Sills
Mrs. Fern H. Fills, 65, Rt. 2, Bluffton, died at 6:30 a.m. Saturday after a 10 year illness.
She was born June 2, 1904 to Mr. and Mrs. Isaac F. Huffman and was married Dec. 22, 1934 to William Ray Fills who survives.
She was a Mother Advisor of Assembly 49 Order of Rainbow for Girls and a Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Lodge 269 of Warren. She was also a secretary for the Order of Eastern Star for 11 years and she attended the Church of Christ in Warren.
Other survivors are a son, Jim Dailey of Albion; five grandchildren; two sisters Mrs. George Carey, Fort Wayne and Mrs. Charles Shaw, Kendallville and a brother, Clifford J. Huffman, LaPuenta, Calif.
The body is at the H. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Warren where friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday and where services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Warren.

Correction
In the obituary notice of Mrs. Fern Sills appearing in the Herald-Press Sunday, the name was incorrectly shown as Mrs. Fern Fills. The husband's name should have read William Ray Sills, not Fills.

Fern H. Sills
Funeral services for Fern H. Sills, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the H. Brown and Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Vernon Shaw of Nappannee officiating.
Pallbearers were Clair Lieurance, Wayne and Herman Huffman, Ernie Rybolt, Carl Hunnicutt and Harold Babcock. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery, Warren.

Fern married William Ray Sills, son of George Oliver Sills and Della E. Shadle, on 22 Dec 1934 in Wells County, Poneto, IN.⁷⁰ (William Ray Sills was born on 3 Feb 1901 in Huntington County, Salamonie Twp., IN ⁷⁰ and died on 29 Jun 1979 in Wells County, Bluffton, IN ⁷⁰.)
