Former Wells County Assessor Dies
Bluffton, Dec. 7 - Frank C. Huffman, 59, retired farmer and former Wells County assessor, died at 9:10 p.m. today at his home just west of here after a two-day illness.
Surviving are the wife, Myrtle; a son, Russell, this city; three daughters, Mrs. Jesse Sills of Petroleum, Mrs. Norman Jackson, Huntington, and Mrs. Fred Park, near here, and 10 grandchildren.
Mr. Huffman was a member of the Church of the Brethren and the Moose Lodge.
The body was removed to the Jahn Funeral Home where friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery.
