Mrs. Belle Huffman, 72, who resided on Nancy Street in Warren, died of complications at 11:45 a.m. Monday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mark Thompson, east of Warren. She had been ailing since February.
Mrs. Huffman was born May 22, 1867, near Majenica to T. J. and June (Edgar) McElhaney and was married February 13, 1886, to Martin Huffman who is dead.
She leaves the daughter at whose home she died, a son, Loyd Huffman, east of Warren; and two brothers, Elijah and Guilford McElhaney, both of Warren.
She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church at Warren where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. V. O. Vernon, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery at Warren.
Huffman Funeral Held At Church In Warren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Belle Huffman, who died Monday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mark Thompson, east of Warren, were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Warren Methodist church, the Rev. V. O. Vernon officiating.
Music was by Mrs. L. W. Smith, Minnie Myers, Ralph Myers and the Rev. Louis Stanger with Miss Mary Wilhelm at the organ.
Pallbearers were Harry McElhaney, Virgil McElhaney, Ora Casisday, Raymond Huffman, Jeff McElhaney and Elijah McElhaney. Interment was at the Woodlawn cemetery at Warren.
